Cave Diner

Welcome to Cave Diner! In this game you play as Gribble, a Gemlin in search of his favorite food... Gems, of course! Help Gribble get a good breakfast, lunch and dinner by navigating him through 25 levels, chomping gems along the way in search of the huge gem at the cave's core. Once Gribble gets going he never wants to stop, so you'll have to figure out how to work around that to get him where he needs to go.

Cave Diner is a short, intuitive-yet-challenging sliding puzzle game, with various mechanics such as falling crates, buttons, one-way walls and bouncy mushrooms. All of these mechanics interact with each other to create new emergent behaviors, leading to puzzles with intuitive and challenging solutions! Plus, almost every level features optional gems, which serve as extra content for completionists or those looking for an extra challenge. Overall, Cave Diner offers quite a bit of content despite only having 25 levels!

Cave Diner was designed primarily for mobile devices, and uses motion-control for a significant part of its gameplay. However if you personally dislike motion control, or if you don't have an Android phone, the PC version is for you. This is my first completed Godot project, and also my major work for my Design & Tech  HSC course. As such, there may be some minor bugs/oversights.

All music was created by Kevin Macleod, and all sound effects were sourced from Pixabay.
